Downtown shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs will be open during and following the parade. Make sure you check out these special offers:
Ivanhoe Pub & Eatery will serve an Irish breakfast (bangers, rashers, black & white pudding, eggs, tomato, mushrooms and soda bread) from 9 - 11 a.m. Throughout the day, they will serve corned beef & cabbage; Dublin coddle; Irish stew; shepherds pie; steamed mussels and potato leek soup. The Tullamore Dew Girls will be at The Ivanhoe from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. with the Guinness Girls from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. Watch for the Leprecahuns' Shamrock in front of the Ivanhoe.
Joeys on 6th is offering $2 Guiness pints and $3 bombs.
Lakeview Pharmacy is sponsoring a "Think you have the luck of the Irish?" contest. Guess the number of leprechauns in their store window for a chance to win a $50 Lakeview Pharmacy gift certificate.
McAuliffe's on the Square is selling Guinness commemorative glasses filled with Guinness for $7 (keep the glass) and $4 refills. The Guinness Girls will be serving samples in mini pints from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The Saturday Night Preachers will perform at McAuliffe's on the Square at 8 p.m. followed by the Rust Belt Demons.
Ricky's Place will be serving $5 20-oz. Guinness; $3 Jameson shots; $2.50 Green M'Gillicudy Shots; and $4 Irish Car Bombs. They will also have Irish music all day long.
Yardarm Bar & Grill will be serving corned beef and cabbage. And, Jeff Ward will perform on Saturday evening.
