During the month of August, the Downtown Racine Corporation will be celebrating their 30th Anniversary of serving the Downtown Racine Neighborhood. DRC has planned a number of activities which will take place for 30 days (from August 1 through August 30):

• DRC Membership Discount -- Become a member of the Downtown Racine Corporation during the month of August and receive a 30% discount off your membership fee (for new members only).
• FREE Cake and Lemonade -- On Friday, August 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. during Music on the Monument complimentary cake and lemonade will be served and free balloons will be given away.
• Got Clocks? -- Every day during the month of August, Downtown's public service ambassadors will choose someone who is viewing a clock to receive a free "Got Clocks?" t-shirt. This is a great time for you to come Downtown to see all 60 clocks of Hour Town, Racine's 2010 public art project.
• Pearl Jam – Because pearls are the symbol of a 30th anniversary, Art Metals Studio is creating an original-design pearl pendant to commemorate this special occasion.  The public is invited to register to win this fabulous piece of jewelry valued at over $1,000.  Ballots boxes will be located at Art Metals Studio (332 Main Street), the Downtown Racine Corporation Office (425 Main Street), Moxie Child (304 6th Street) and the Downtown Information Kiosk.  The winning name will be drawn by Chris Sklba of Art Metals Studio on Saturday, September 11, during the “Clocks on the Auction Block” public art auction.
