Fire and Ice Festival

January 20

A limited number of vendor spaces is available!! Are you a small business owner who would love to set up shop at this event?? Contact us today to find out more details!

Mark your calendars for Downtown Racine’s newest event. On Saturday, January 20th, from noon to 5:00 pm, join us on Monument Square for The Fire and Ice Festival. This free community event will break you out of that winter cabin fever for sure.

We will have ice carvers to wow you with their icy creations! They will start their work at noon and shape huge blocks of ice right before your very eyes. Don’t forget to grab a selfie with the finished sculptures and use #fireandicefest!

Do a little carving yourself by taking advantage of the FREE ice skating rink on the square. Free ice skate rentals will be available from noon – 5:00 pm. Renters must provide an ID for hold while skates are in use.

Enjoy a stroll through our vendor area to see fabulous handmade crafts and get to know local small business owners. Get something to eat at one of the yummy food trucks on site. Or, grab a hot cup of coca and warm up by a fire. Yes, you read that right! What’s a Fire and Ice Festival without the fire? After the event, shake the chill off by heading over to McAuliffe’s on the Square for some warming drinks and some live music!

Don’t forget dinner! January 20 will kick off Downtown Racine’s new Restaurant Week! Restaurant Week discount cards are available at the DRC, at 425 Main Street, or at any participation location. Use your new Restaurant Week card to get 15% off your food at all of the participating locations all week long!  Head to RacineDowntown.com/event/restaurant-week/ for a list of participating locations.

it is 100% FREE! Ice skate rentals (Friday – Sunday only) are also free, but an ID must be provided for our attendant to hold on to while the skates are in use.

Blankets can be donated 2 ways:
      – Any day at our office located at 425 Main Street
      – At the warming station for the ice rink located in the Monument Square Building during the festival

Blankets collected will go to local charities that help others in need.
