On view through September 1 at Racine Art Museum, 441 Main Street, Represent: Exploring
Portraits from RAM’s Collection encourages contemplation about how humans understand one
another as well as the world around them through carefully considered representations. Recently
added is a small selection of the work of Milwaukee-based artist Kierston Ghaznavi. She creates
articulated paper dolls that represent, in her own words, “black pop culture, afro-centric natural
hair, positive imagery of black women, self-love, and awareness.” Feeling inspired after viewing
portraits? Visitors are invited to create their own Funny Face during RAM’s Free Family Hands-
On Art Project, 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Beginning at 7:00 pm, enjoy a medley of songs performed by
the Visioning a Greater Racine (VGR) Community Choir. The Museum Store welcomes back the
great sale cart stacked with books on all kinds of subjects and current affairs. Take 20% off the

second annual classic car show! Located on Monument Square during June First Friday, come
show off your classic car or just bring yourself. All cars will scoop the loop after so no matter
what other great business you visiting throughout the night, you will be able to see them!

Stop by Dewey’s, 600 Main Street, for a First Friday’s Fish Fry featuring $11 beer battered cod
and $13 perch, walleye or blue gill. Enjoy $3 glasses of wine from 2:00 – 6:00 pm.

stops this next First Friday! Along with the great Happy Hour specials (ends at 6:00pm) & TGIF
