Starting at State and Main Street, the parade will proceed south down Main and turn west onto Sixth Street and end at City Hall.

Dozens of entries will march the downtown streets to support this festive annual community event.  Come see the parade where you will experience community groups like the Red Apple School Parade Grand Marshal, Racine Raiders, musicians, mascots, local politicians and the McDonald Family Dancers and Bag Piper. These are only a few of the great community groups that will entertain you along the parade route.

What roads will be closed? I live at 333 Lake ave and have people coming from Elmwood park Il. Will they be able to get to my house? We want
to walk to parade and come back for lunch. Will they be able to get back to tollway at 2:30 to three? Lake ave is only Northbound. to Gas Light Drive. Will they be able to go west there at 23:300 to 3:00 o clock? They will be returning to Elmwood Park IL?

      Hi Peter,

Lake Ave will remain open all day. The section of Main Street between State Street and 6th Street, and the section of State Street between Ontario and Main, will be closed from about 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, but you can turn and go north on Main from Gaslight if needed. Staging for the Parade begins at 9 am, so expect State Street to be more congested than normal that morning.
