Downtown Racine is planning for a very cool yule with an exciting new event coming to Monument Square.  Downtown's First Annual Snow Sculpting Competition and Festival will be held the weekend of December 18 - 20.     

Monument Square will be a flurry of activity as new snow is made for the professional sculptors to work their holiday magic.    Twenty snow blocks will be sculpted by highly talented and experienced sculptors that have won local, state and international awards.  The sculptures will remain at Monument Square as long as Mother Nature allows.  Click here to see the final snow sculpture creations.

In addition to watching these incredible artists sculpt their masterpieces, guests will enjoy visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, live reindeer, refreshments, and entertainment.  You can also vote for your favorite snow sculpture and purchase your live holiday wreath, centerpiece or kissing ball from Balsam Wreaths.
