The Downtown Racine Corporation is pleased to announce that Plumb Gold Ltd. will sponsor the Music on the Monument concert series for the second year.
Plumb Gold Ltd., founded in 1976, is located at 322 Main Street in Downtown Racine. Since opening, founder and President Judy K. Olsen has established a reputation for creating gold and gemstone jewelry with a focus on quality, design and craftsmanship. Music on the Monument, which began in 2003, is a summer-long music series which provides free outdoor concerts every Friday during the months of June, July and August. The concerts are held at Monument Square from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and provide a venue for local musicians to perform for the general public. “We’re thrilled and very thankful to partner with our friends at Plumb Gold Ltd. for another year,” said Jean Garbo, DRC’s Director of Marketing. “We want to thank them for their very generous donation and continued support of Downtown Racine."
Media sponsors for Music on the Monument are WRJN (1400 AM), Lite Rock 92.1 FM and The Journal Times.
And, as in years’ past, Shorewest Realtors will provide chairs at Monument Square to be used during the concerts and the Red Onion Café, located at 555 Main Street, will provide complimentary lunches for the performers as well as a rain location for each of the concerts.
